At Wacky Wombat Entertainment we believe in creating fun and engaging moments of wonder that transport you to a state of play.

Established in 2017, Wacky Wombat Entertainment is one of the leading entertainment businesses in Gippsland. We specialize in circus performances, fire stunt shows and have access to a range of multi skilled entertainers, providing services to a variety of event types across Victoria.

We host birthday parties, workshops, and the all-important Circus School at the Wacky Wombat HQ in Bairnsdale. In addition to this we have a range of products available to hire including bouncy castles and family fun lawn games.

After engulfing himself in the world of juggling as a teenager, Ryan moved on to study at the well renown circus school, Circomedia, before cutting his teeth and sharpening his trade as a performer, busking on the streets of the UK.  It was here that he learnt to engage with a crowd and understand what it takes to shine as a performer.

In the UK Ryan worked on many youth projects, as well as touring the country performing his show at many events and festivals.

In his twenties he embarked on an adventure, jumping on a plane to Australia where he busked both in Sydney and Melbourne before settling down with a family in East Gippsland. 

In 2017, Ryan made the decision to provide the rural areas of Victoria with access to entertainment mostly found in the cities.  This was the birth of Wacky Wombat Entertainment, which now has its own established venue, and team of entertainers performing throughout Gippsland and into NSW.

Meet the Team

  • Ryan

    Ryan, or as some children call him, Mr. Wacky Wombat, has been the driving force behind the business, pulling together a group of likeminded people, creating a community, for adults and children alike.

  • Leigh

    Leigh first crossed paths with Ryan when their children attended the same Daycare. Leigh was the dad that would stay for an extra 30-minutes at pick up time engaging and playing with children. Leighs steady hand provides magical face painting at both events and birthday parties, cracking jokes and making the children smile.

  • Pixie

    Pixie’s bright colorful clothes are a simple reflection of what is shining on thew inside. From years of providing children’s parties and laughter yoga, pixie is a wonder at engaging with children and prompting play with adults!

  • Grant

    Grant started as a Juggling teen, but then took a different direction as a performer. After studying Musical theatre at The Guildford School of Acting (GSA), Grant has worked in many productions across Europe, including performing as part of FROZEN at Disney Land Paris. More recently, Grant has been performing on cruise ships both with his solo show and as part of the ensemble.

  • Christian

    Keep your eyes on his quick hands! Christian is our top magician, astounding both children and adults with his close-up magic. You will also find Christian, stilt walking, juggling and generally entertaining.

  • Brendan

    When Brendan first joined the WWE team to help with Jumping castles, it didn’t take long for the “big kid at heart” to learn stilt walking and grow his juggling skills. Now you can find him winding up the kids at events, stilt walking and making giant bubbles.

  • Trey

    Trey joined some of Ryans initial circus classes back in 2017 and has stuck with them. Now 15, working as a junior, Trey is helping the team in the kids’ zones at events, and setting a shining example for children joining the Wacky Wombat Entertainment Circus school.
